Logic PreK II (Ages 4-5): Strengthening Reasoning and Problem-Solving Skills

Our Logic PreK program for ages 4-5 is designed to further develop children’s critical thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities as they prepare for kindergarten and beyond. Through interactive activities and challenging puzzles, we encourage students to think logically, solve problems, and make connections in creative ways.

This course builds on foundational skills with more complex math games, riddles, and hands-on projects that challenge young learners to apply logic and reasoning in different situations. We focus on making learning both fun and meaningful.

In this course, children will learn to:

• Count and perform addition/subtraction from 0 to 10
• Understand ordinal numbers from 1 to 10
• Recognize and name basic geometric shapes
• Practice matching, sorting, and classification of objects
• Identify and create patterns and sequences
• Solve simple analogies and verbal puzzles
• Learn about symmetry and spatial orientation
• Understand the concept of the whole and its parts

The math portion of this course is based on the renowned Singapore Math K(A) curriculum, known for its strong emphasis on problem-solving and conceptual understanding. Our goal is to create an interactive learning environment where children not only master foundational math skills but also develop a love for logical reasoning and critical thinking.
